Forum (lyjen) script details The "Forum" script allows registered and authenticated users to participate in various discussion topics, using a post/message listing layout resembling the Facebook chat.
A user can start a discussion and then anyone else registered can participate in it.
After logging into his account, the user will see all of Forum's discussions and he can participate in each one he likes.
Discussions are listed by their creation date, and not by the most recent reply's date.
There are no user profiles, no admin panel, no installation wizard, no avatars. Just the discussions themselves.
The script may not be perfect for a full-blown forum, but it can be used as an internal messaging system for any app, a support chat and many other more.
Installation:
1. Unpack and upload the script's source to a Web server.
2. Modify the connection.php file with all the MySQL database credentials.
3. Create the database and import the wall.sql file.
4. Create an account and start participating in discussions.
